Terms of Service

Effective June 18, 2026 · whoosin, LLC (“whoosin,” “we,” “us”)

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of whoosin, operated by whoosin, LLC. By connecting your Google account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use whoosin.

2. What whoosin does

whoosin connects to your Gmail, finds the group invitations you’ve sent, reads the replies, classifies them into yes / no / maybe with AI, and shows you a live attendance dashboard. It can draft follow-up emails that you review and send. It never sends mail on your behalf.

3. Beta service

whoosin is currently offered as a beta. That means it is still under active development and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, break, or be removed; classification may be imperfect; and we do not guarantee any particular uptime, availability, or result. Don’t rely on whoosin as your only record for anything critical.

4. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a contract. You’re responsible for the Google account you connect and for keeping your access secure. You may only track events and read replies for messages you are authorized to access.

Communications from whoosin. As part of your account, we send you email about your own use of whoosin. This includes transactional and account notices (such as a welcome message, billing receipts, security or service notices) — these are part of the service and are sent while your account is active — and service reminders about the events you set up (for example, that a reply is still outstanding). Reminders are on by default; every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can turn them off any time in Settings. We send genuinely promotional or marketing email only if you separately opt in (and only where that is permitted), governed by its own preference; unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the transactional and service notices needed to run your account. All of these emails concern only your own account and events — we never email your invitees on your behalf.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse whoosin: no unlawful, harassing, or deceptive use; no attempts to access other users’ data; no reverse engineering, scraping, overloading, or circumventing limits; and no use that violates the rights of others.

7. Plans, billing & cancellation

8. Free-event credit

The free event is a one-time credit per person, intended for trying whoosin before subscribing. We use the anonymized tombstone described in our Privacy Policy to prevent the credit from being farmed through repeated account deletion.

9. Intellectual property

whoosin, its name, logo, and software are owned by whoosin, LLC. Your data is yours; you grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you. We claim no ownership of your emails or contacts.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, whoosin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that classifications will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, whoosin, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of whoosin. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless whoosin, LLC from claims arising out of your use of whoosin, your communications with others, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using whoosin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. 9–12, 14) will survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Connecticut will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, notice to you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
